Day 1 Your Journey Begins in Oslo
Welcome to Norway!  Head to your hotel on arrival, and once checked in head out and familiarize yourself with Oslo.  (Overnight Oslo)

Day 2 The Flåmsbana
After breakfast make your way to the station for an early train to Myrdal, then change onto the world famous Flåmsbana.  The journey has often been voted the worlds most scenic, and the dramatic mountainous scenery it passes through is at times breath-taking.  Once you’ve reached the village of Flam check-in at your hotel, and prepare for dinner (Overnight Flam)

Day 3 Flam to Bergen
This morning depart Flam via the picturesque Aurlandsfjord then into the UNESCO World Heritage listed Nærøyfjord, the narrowest fjord in the world. This branch of the Sognefjord is spectacularly beautiful with its high snow-capped peaks framing the narrow thread of water. Watch goats grazing along the banks and seals lying on the rocks before mooring at Gudvangen. Transfer onto a bus here and enjoy the winding bends of the Stalheimskleiva to a lookout point above the Stalheimsfossen and Sivlefossen waterfalls. You'll make a brief stop to admire the view before continuing to Voss, where you transfer to the station for your onward train journey to Bergen.  (Overnight Bergen)

Day 4 Hardangerfjord Day Trip
Renown for it rich natural beauty, idyllic villages, and lush orchards, the Hardangerfjord region is one of Norway’s best kept secrets.  Following a scenic train ride to Voss, take a dramatic cruise to the charming village of Eidfjord.  From here it’s a wonderful bus ride to the vast Vøringsfossen – Norway’s largest waterfall.  Return to Eidfjord and enjoy another breath-taking cruise along Hardangerfjord to Norheimsund, for a bus ride back to Bergen.  (Overnight Bergen)

Day 5 Sognefjord in a Nutshell
Another day another amazing spectacular journey, this time departing Bergen by water.  Take a leisurely cruise along Norway’s largest fjord - Sognafjord back to Flam.  Pass by some towering waterfalls, and picturesque villages, then from Flam you can enjoy another ride on the fabulous Flåmsbana line to Myrdal, then on to Bergen.  (Overnight Bergen)

Day 6 Bergen to Stavanger
Enjoy a leisurely morning today.  Take a stroll through Bryggen – the city’s historic harbour district, then make your way to the ferry terminal for your cruise along the Norwegian coast to Stavanger.  It’s a journey of just over 5hrs, and from the ferry terminal it’s around a fifteen minute taxi ride to the center of the city, and your hotel for the next two nights.  (Overnight Stavanger)

Day 7 Lysefjord Cruise and Hike to Pulpit Rock
Make sure your camera batteries are charged for today, as the views really will be spectacular!  In the morning enjoy a silent cruise along the beautiful Lysefjord.  You’ll pass Pulpit Rock and you can strain your neck looking up the steep rock wall, famous from Tom Cruise scaling it in a Mission Impossible film.  Pass the mighty Hengifoss waterfall before hopping off and taking a short bus ride to the Preikestolen Cabin to collect your packed lunch.  Then it’s off, following the well-marked, and moderate trail up to Pulpit Rock itself.  The hike is around two-hours each way, through bogs, and forest, but the views from the top are second to none.  Once you have returned to the cabin, you return to Stavanger by bus via the world’s longest underwater tunnel.  Dinner tonight will certainly be well earned!  (Overnight Stavanger)

Day 8 Stavanger to Oslo
Today you can rest your legs with a scenic train ride across Norway.  Depart Stanger in the late morning and once you have arrived in Oslo make your way to your hotel for a two-night stay.  (Overnight Oslo)
